Domchain is a blockchain-based third party, which holds a domain before transferring from one party to another. The third-party holds the funds until both parties have fulfilled their contractual requirements. Critical selling stages are stored in blockchain so that no party can back out the deal. Moreover, the selling/purchasing domain will be done through a secure and safe platform.

We have no restrictions on the type of TLD. The limitation only applies by receiving domain registrant.

It depends upon :

Current domain's condition (for instance, if seller update domain administration info, it will take 60 days for the domain to get unlocked.

Approving time by both parties (for example, approving Form of Authority bo both parties should be done within 5 days.)

New and old registrars' policies. The transfer process will vary depending on the registrar(s) involved. The transfer process may require action from the Buyer and Seller.

If the seller does not accept the registrars approving question, the buyer can request a cancellation by sending an email to support@domchain.net.

Domchain does not take any commission fee until Jan 2022. Feel free to use Domchain as much as you need.

We don't share any information about any party. However, during the transferring process, WHOIS guard of the domain will be disabled. So that the seller's WHOIS information will be exposed.

First, you should renew the domain. Otherwise, the transfer will be rejected.

You can always get the link by clicking on the "Copy" button next to your desired domain. This will copy the selling link into your clipboard.

There is no hidden fee applied by Domchain. However, most receiving registrants ask the buyer to renew the domain for at least 1 year before transfer completion.
